Hi, and welcome to ADHDThinker.com
I created this site because I believe the world needs a clearer, more accurate understanding of ADHD. For too long, ADHD has been misunderstood, minimized, or explained only through stereotypes. The truth is, ADHD brains don’t just “struggle to focus” — they actually process the world in a way that’s very different from neurotypical brains. That difference comes with its own challenges, but also unique strengths and perspectives.
When I first started learning more about ADHD, I realized how much misinformation and shallow content was out there. I wanted to build something better — a place where anyone could come, read credible research, and walk away with a deeper appreciation of how ADHD really works. That’s how ADHDThinker.com was born.
This website is designed as a resource hub where you’ll find:
-
Links to credible research papers from trusted sources.
-
A growing library of resources, tools, and articles that break down ADHD in a way that makes sense.
-
Book recommendations (through affiliate links) for those who want to dive deeper into the science, the lived experience, or practical strategies.
The purpose is simple: when you leave this site, you’ll know more than you did before — and hopefully, you’ll see ADHD through a new lens.
I also want to be transparent. You may notice Google AdSense ads or affiliate book links throughout the site. These aren’t here to overwhelm you or distract from the content — they just help cover the basic costs of running this project. My goal has never been to “get rich” from ADHDThinker.com, but rather to keep the lights on so I can continue to share resources and research freely.
At its core, ADHDThinker.com is about awareness and understanding. Whether you’re someone with ADHD, a parent, a teacher, a healthcare professional, or just a curious learner, I hope this site helps you see that ADHD is far more complex, nuanced, and fascinating than many people realize.
If even one person leaves this site with less stigma, more knowledge, and a greater sense of compassion, then this project is doing its job.
Thanks for being here, for reading, and for being part of this journey to spread awareness. Let’s help the world understand ADHD — one thought at a time.
